<div>We’re scaling quickly and are now looking for an Interim PMO Build Lead (Contract) help us establish a lightweight PMO and delivery capability.</div>

<div><strong>Role Summary</strong><br>Our project and programme activity is growing quickly across Product, Technology, Operations and Business functions, and we are looking for an experienced contractor to help us build a lightweight, scalable PMO function that improves clarity, consistency and execution without creating bureaucracy.</div>

<div>This is a six-month contract focused on assessing our current delivery landscape, implementing a fit-for-purpose PMO capability, and helping shape the longer-term delivery function as the business continues to scale.</div>

<div>This is not a traditional enterprise PMO role.</div>

<div>We're looking for someone practical and hands-on who can assess how we currently work, simplify where needed, standardise the essentials, and help build a delivery function that scales with the business.</div>

<div><strong>You will work closely with the COO, leadership team and existing PMs to:</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Standardise project planning approaches.</li>
<li>Simplify reporting and delivery visibility.</li>
<li>Rationalise tooling and processes.</li>
<li>Introduce clear but lightweight delivery governance.</li>
<li>Align Product, Technology, Operations and Business teams around shared priorities, dependencies and delivery timelines.</li>
<li>Define the future PMO, Programme Management and Project Management capability required as the business grows.</li>
</ul>
<div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Assess how projects are currently planned, managed and reported, then simplify and standardise the tools, processes and ways of working used across the business.</li>
<li>Design and implement a lightweight PMO operating model that supports consistent delivery without unnecessary bureaucracy.</li>
<li>Establish practical planning, reporting, RAID and governance standards that teams will actually use.</li>
<li>Create clear project and portfolio-level visibility, enabling leadership to easily understand progress, priorities, risks and dependencies.</li>
<li>Support prioritisation, roadmap alignment and cross-functional dependency management.</li>
<li>Coach existing Project Managers and delivery leads to embed consistent ways of working.</li>
<li>Define the future PMO structure, operating model and capability requirements needed to support business growth.</li>
<li>Recommend, support the recruitment of, and help onboard the permanent delivery leadership and project management capability required for the next phase of growth.</li>
</ul>

<li>Proven experience establishing or transforming PMO and delivery functions.</li>
<li>Strong programme delivery experience within scaling, high-growth or fast-moving organisations.</li>
<li>Experience simplifying delivery structures and removing unnecessary process.</li>
<li>The ability to balance governance with speed, agility and pragmatism.</li>
<li>Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, operational and business teams.</li>
<li>Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building capability from the ground up.</li>
<li>A practical, delivery-focused mindset.</li>
<li>Able to influence senior leadership while remaining hands-on when required.</li>
</ul>

<li>A roadmap and organisational plan exists for scaling Programme and Project Management capability.</li>
<li>Recruitment of key permanent delivery leadership roles has commenced or been completed.</li>
